There are a number of techniques and methods to train and transform shapes in to flat espaliers. With a little practice, you can craft interesting shapes out of your shrubs and trees. Get started with some simple espalier techniques given here.

St Vincent - "Cruel" [video]

St. Vincent's "Cruel"

...

By parasitesdontlisten, January 26, 2012

St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) just dropped her new album, Strange Mercy, on September 13th; the first single, Cruel, is a beautiful and haunting gem that shows St. Vincent continues to explore the musically unknown. This video is from the same creative team as her previous works (Marrow, Actor Out of Work). Cruel weaves a story of kidnap, loneliness, and murder; a dysfunctional family kidnaps poor Annie from a gas station and tries to adopt her as pseudo mother and servant. St. Vincent’s voice perfectly sets the tone of alienation while the swiping shots forewarn of impending doom.
